PPS Sprouts Garden Program

PPS SPROUTS IS OUR OWN CURATED ORGANIC GARDENING PROGRAM!

Ms. Kendall joined our PPS team in 2023 to lead this exciting new curriculum for our 4s and PreK classrooms. PPS Sprouts introduces children to nature and science! We are currently utilizing 8 raised beds behind the Westbury building as our outdoor learning environment. We hope to expand this program to the younger classrooms in the future! Ms. Kendall visits the buildings monthly, providing hands-on activities where children can learn through play – how gardens grow, how insects help the environment, how to plant seeds, and much more! PPS Sprouts is one of the many things about our school that make us unique and we are so excited to offer this opportunity for learning.
