Teachers will be expected to…
- provide a nurturing and safe learning environment
- create and implement lesson plans
- foster positive relationships with children and their families
- write anecdotal notes for portfolios
- complete children’s electronic daily reports.
We are currently looking for an exceptional Reggio Facilitator to join our dynamic team!
The Reggio Facilitator will be expected to….
- Follow the Reggio Enhancement Schedule for the classrooms.
- Provide support for the classrooms by molding best practice.
- Train teachers on how to appropriately use mediums and other tools so that they can be successful when you are not there.
- Develop and implement a plan school wide for Reggio Inspiration in the classroom.
- Submit plan and required materials to the Curriculum Coordinator for approval
- Complete and turn in the Monthly Reflection Documentation Form to the Curriculum Coordinator.
- Meet monthly with the Curriculum Coordinator to review lessons and reflections.
- Send Marketing and Program Coordinator pictures of approved children and a short blurb to be posted on our social media accounts weekly.
- Attend various school events as required by the School Administrator.
- Maintain purchased materials for ongoing use.
Requirements:
- Must have an Associates of Science degree in early childhood education or a related field.
- Must have at least five (5) consecutive years of active teaching experience in a full-day early childhood education facility which is licensed by NCDCDEE and rated “5-star” according to the NCRLAP.
- Have a working knowledge of the fundamentals of the Reggio Emilia approach to learning
- All pre-employment screenings completed including but not limited to: TB test, reference and criminal background checks, fingerprints, medical examination and all educational transcript requirements.
